Role: Azure Cloud Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC/Memphis, TN
Looking for a highly motivated and experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure for state-of-the-art digital banking platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, automation, and digital platform development, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance in the financial services sector.
Responsibilities:
▪ Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure Azure cloud solutions for digital banking platforms.
▪ Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to ensure efficient and automated deployments.
▪ Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
▪ Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency tailored to digital banking requirements.
▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud solutions with application needs and business objectives in the financial domain.
▪ Monitor and troubleshoot Azure services to ensure high availability and reliability for banking applications.
▪ Maintain compliance with security and regulatory requirements, such as PCI DSS and GDPR.
▪ Provide guidance and mentorship on Azure best practices and emerging technologies.
▪ Requirements:
▪ Bachelor▪s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
▪ 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 3 years on Azure.
▪ Expertise in Azure services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Monitor, and Azure API Management.
▪ Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
▪ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
▪ Deep understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
▪ Experience in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
▪ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
▪ Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
▪ Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer certification.
▪ Proven experience in developing and managing cloud infrastructure for digital banking platforms.
▪ Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Log Analytics, Application Insights).
▪ Knowledge of networking concepts and tools in Azure (VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancers).
▪ Experience integrating cloud solutions with banking systems for seamless digital transformation.
