Job Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: Albany, NY 12203
Duration: This is a permanent position intended to be filled as a contract-to-hire
Interview type: in-person required
Visa Type: USC/GC/GC-EAD/TN Visa/H4-EAD
WORK SCOPE
The scope of work to be performed by the Contractor consists of tasks listed in the following functional areas.
Tasks:
▪ Continuing customization and development of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, Apex Classes, VisualForce Pages, triggers, etc.
▪ Working with management, business SMEs and end-users to create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers
▪ Manage Integrations with PeopleSoft and SQL Server Data Warehouse
▪ Configuring user profiles, role hierarchy, sharing rules and security
▪ Ongoing documentation
▪ Communicate and apply future Salesforce releases and enhancements
▪ Provide help and support for internal and external users
Expected Deliverables
▪ Technical design documentation
▪ Test plans
▪ Tested APEX code & Visual Force Pages
Experience Level: mid-level
The Contractor should be able to demonstrate the following skills
▪ 2-4 years' experience developing directly on Salesforce/force.com products using APEX, Visualforce and SOQL.
▪ Experience with DBAmp
▪ Experience with web services (SOAP or REST)
▪ HTML, JQuery and CSS experience
▪ Experience Managing production updates/releases
▪ Understanding of relational databases and data integration tool
▪ Excellent communication and analytical skills
▪ Salesforce Certified Developer a plus
