Description:
ComTec is looking for a Salesforce Architect to join our team. The Architect serves as subject matter expert on Salesforce CPQ projects and will be responsible for client delivery and knowledge management. The ideal candidate will work closely with our clients, the vendor team, and our internal delivery teams in developing robust, scalable and flexible solution architectures for various customer projects including designing prototypes, building proof of concepts, and preparing architecture roadmaps. The Solution Architect will be responsible for the following key responsibilities on a day to day basis: Assess business process needs and identify technical capabilities needed.
Responsibilities:
▪ Serves as the technical leader for Salesforce CPQ projects onsite at client locations
▪ Translate business requirements into architected solutions which best leverage the Salesforce platform
▪ Provide hands-on technical assistance to developers
▪ Configure bundles (features, options, option constraints, configuration attributes), product rules, price rules, discount schedules pricing, contracted prices, quote templates, quote processes and custom actions
▪ Manage products, pricebooks and pricebook entries
▪ Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems
▪ Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills
▪ Follow and understand new Salesforce product and technical capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitions
Qualifications:
▪ More than 5 years of CRM industry experience and/or Salesforce CPQ implementation experience
▪ 3+ years of experience in the capacity of a Salesforce CPQ Architect
▪ Minimum 5 years of Salesforce platform experience
▪ Active Salesforce certifications ▪ Salesforce CPQ certified
▪ Experienced leading one or more Salesforce CPQ implementations
▪ Minimum 3 years of experience in Quote to Cash CPQ implementations.
▪ Functional knowledge of the interactions between CPQ Functional knowledge of business process design
▪ Experience in hands-on design, prototyping, development, configurations, testing and other implementation activities.
▪ Experience in scoping, planning, and presenting project plans. Strong technical background, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
▪ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
