Client: Ohio Department of Commerce (Division of Cannabis Control) Work Arrangement: Hybrid (In-office requirement dependent on business needs)
Duration: 07/01/2026-06/30/2027 (Long-term)
Shift/Schedule: Part-Time (20 hours per week). Requires flexibility for evening/weekend availability during critical deployment windows.
This is a Technical Governance & Oversight position. You will serve as the agency's primary authority on Salesforce architectural decisions. Rather than just building, you will oversee the managed service vendor, review and approve all technical designs, conduct code audits, and validate vendor estimates. You are the "Strategic Liaison" who ensures the vendor delivers high-quality, secure, and compliant solutions while minimizing technical debt.
Required Skills & Experience:
Salesforce Development & Architecture: 8+ Years (Required).
Senior Architect/Lead Roles: 3+ Years (Required).
Vendor Management: Proven experience managing external vendors/contractors.
Government Cloud: Experience with Salesforce in government cloud environments (preferably State of Ohio infrastructure).
Technical Stack: Expert proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and declarative development.
Integrations & DevOps: Deep knowledge of MuleSoft, APIs, and DevOps tools like Copado or Flosum.
Certifications: Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (Mandatory) plus at least 3 additional Salesforce certifications.
Required Education: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
