Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Solution / Technical Architect to define and own the end-to-end architecture of enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience designing complex, multi-cloud solutions, integrating Salesforce with enterprise ERP landscapes, and guiding delivery teams from vision through production.
This role acts as the technical authority for Salesforce programs, presenting solution and technical designs to senior stakeholders, governing architecture decisions, and actively managing technical debt to keep the platform scalable and sustainable.
Key Responsibilities
Define the overall solution and technical architecture for enterprise-level Salesforce programs across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
Prepare and present Solution Design Documents (SDD) and Technical Design Documents (TDD) to business and technical stakeholders, including executive audiences.
Create and present system landscape and system architecture documentation, covering integrations, data flows, environments, and security.
Design integration architecture between Salesforce and ERP systems such as SAP HANA and Oracle NetSuite, selecting appropriate patterns (real-time, batch, event-driven) and middleware.
Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and governance for Apex, Flows, and automation.
Assess, prioritize, and manage technical debt, defining remediation roadmaps that balance delivery speed with long-term platform health.
Lead org assessments, org merge/consolidation strategies, and large-scale data migration architecture.
Define CI/CD, DevOps, environment, and release strategies across multiple teams and workstreams.
Own deployment and migration planning, including cutover, rollback, and risk mitigation.
Design the enterprise security model, including sharing architecture, identity/SSO, and compliance considerations.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Technical Leads, developers, and administrators.
Support pre-sales activities, estimations, and solution proposals where required.

Salesforce platform: Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, multi-tenancy, Apex (triggers, batch, queueable, schedulable), Lightning Web Components, Flows, and declarative automation.
Integration: Good knowledge of REST (and SOAP) APIs and integration patterns, with hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems such as SAP HANA and Oracle NetSuite, including middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi) and event-driven approaches (Platform Events, CDC).
CI/CD & DevOps: Good knowledge of Salesforce DevOps practices and tools such as Git, SFDX/Salesforce CLI, Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Deployment & migration planning: Experience planning and executing release, deployment, and environment/sandbox strategies, including rollback planning.
Data migration, org merge & org assessment: Proven experience with large-scale data migration (Data Loader, ETL tools), org merge/consolidation initiatives, and health/technical assessments of existing Salesforce orgs.
Security model: In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce security model — profiles, permission sets and permission set groups, roles and role hierarchy, OWD, sharing rules, manual and Apex sharing, field-level security, Shield, and SSO/identity.
Architecture documentation: Demonstrated ability to author and present solution design, technical design, system landscape, and system architecture documentation.
Technical debt management: Experience identifying, quantifying, and systematically reducing technical debt in mature Salesforce orgs.
